Grammy galpals Adele and Beyonce were both honored by the British publication NME at its annual awards, handed out Wednesday in London.
Adele was named Best Festival Headliner, thanks to her main stage spot at England’s famed Glastonbury Festival last year. She beat British rock festival mainstays Coldplay and Radiohead in that category.
As for Beyonce, she beat out Adele for the title of Hero of the Year. Among the other people she beat in that category: the late David Bowie, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown, and rocker Liam Gallagher.
Dua Lipa was named Best New Artist, while 5 Seconds of Summer were named Worst Band for the third year in a row.
